Orr’s Island Rentals was created in 2023 to help share the beautiful Maine coast with others. These properties have been in our family for generations and we are looking to open them up and share the beauty with you all, as we are not able to use them for the whole season, and the income will help offset the expense of keeping them up to date.
The Allyn family and the Steen family before it have owned this property since the 1930’s. While the area has shifted over the years to be more year round people, the beauty really shines in the summer months. Driving down from Brunswick, you get a chance to leave the “big city” behind you and switch in to vacation mode. On hot days you can feel the air temperature drop as you cross on to the islands on the way down. Roll down the windows, soak up the warm sun, and salty sea air.
